In 1924, whilst imprisoned in Landsberg Castle, Adolf Hitler wrote Mein Kampf, his terrifying blueprint of things to come. A decade later, during the Nazi's reign of terror, a 9-year-old German Jewish boy chances upon the highly-prized original manuscript of Hitler's book and begins a lifelong quest. Benjamin's Struggle, a tale of persecution and poetic justice, stars Andrew Sachs (who escaped the Nazis as a Jewish boy himself), Alison Doody (the lead actress in Indianna Jones & the Last Crusade), Suzannah Hamilton (the lead actress in1984) and newcomer Guy Davies. All money raised by this film, without ever covering the cost of production, will go directly to support The Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre, England & The Memorial Lidice in the Czech Republic. |
