Review
Patty Duke plays an overweight housewife who has to confront her weight problem when her husband leaves her because of it. Conchata Ferrel is her happily married and overweight friend. Barbara Feldon is her unhappily thin, engaged friend who is starving herself to fit into her grandmother's wedding gown. Duke's character diets and exercises down to her goal weight in time for the wedding, but Feldon's character collapses at the reception due to her rigorous dieting. |
