Review The president himself calls Professor Mary Ashley to become ambassador of the United States in the communist Rumania under Unesco. He wants her to introduce a new political line. The time she accepts, she doesn't know how much resistance she'll meet... already before the leaves, her husband is killed in a suspicious car accident. Arrived in Rumania, she has not only trouble being accepted as a woman and newcomer in politics, but also gets into a deadly intrigue that shall sabotage the detente policy. |
