Biography: Jennifer Sky

Jennifer Sky (b. October 13, 1976) is an American actress. She is best-known for playing Amarice and Cleopatra on Xena: Warrior Princess and Cleopatra 2525, respectively. She also appeared in the film Never Die Alone and played Cassidy Shaw in the pilot episode of the television series Fastlane.

Biography

Early life

Jennifer Danielle Wacha was raised in Jensen Beach, Florida. She left for New York at the age of 17 to study acting under the tutelage of several acclaimed acting coaches, and became well-versed in the Meisner technique of acting. She selected the name Jennifer Sky for professional purposes.

Fashion label

Jennifer Sky, her sister Katie Wacha and her former sister-in-law, Taryn Band, created the fashion label Vanitas of California. The label aims to make "feminine timeless clothing to make women feel beautiful, sexy, and comfortable".^{[citation needed]}

Career

She has appeared as a regular cast member on such TV shows as General Hospital, Xena: Warrior Princess and Cleopatra 2525, as a porn star in CSI: Miami, and in guest roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed.

She was ranked #90 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2003.^[1] She currently writes for her hometown newspaper, The Stuart News. She has received mixed reviews by avid readers. She is featured in the opinion section.

Personal Life

Sky married Alex Band of The Calling on July 25, 2004. The couple divorced in 2009.
